2. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to:
- Parents / guardians using the App or website
- Students (including minors) whose records are managed by the school
- Teachers and staff using school systems
- Visitors to our public website
Accounts in the App are created and managed by the school. Parents and students do not self-register or permanently delete accounts themselves.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information provided by the school (account & academic records)
- Name, phone number, and email address (where available)
- Student profile details (class, section, roll / registration number, photo if uploaded by school)
- Attendance, notices, exam results, fees dues and payment history
- Other academic or administrative records needed to run the school
3.2 Information collected through the mobile App
- Login credentials — phone or email and password used to sign in
- Device information — a coarse device label (for example “Android Device”) and app session tokens stored securely on the device
- Push notification token (FCM) — so we can send school notices and alerts to your device
- Photos — only when staff use features such as AI Attendance (camera or gallery image of an attendance sheet), uploaded to school servers
- Payment-related data — when you pay fees in the App, we create a payment order and verify payment status; card/UPI details are entered on Razorpay’s secure checkout and are not stored by us
3.3 Information collected on the website
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and basic device characteristics
- Cookies or similar technologies needed for the site to work (for example keeping you logged into the admin panel)
We do not use advertising networks or sell personal data for marketing.
4. How we use information
- To provide school services: attendance, fees, notices, results, routines, payroll (for staff), and related features
- To authenticate users and keep accounts secure
- To send important school communications via push notifications, SMS, WhatsApp, or email where configured
- To process online fee payments
- To improve reliability and security of our systems
- To meet legal, regulatory, or school administration requirements
5. How we share information
We share personal data only as needed to operate the school services:
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — device push tokens and notification content, to deliver App notifications
- Razorpay — name, contact details (email/phone where available), and payment amount/order details, to process fee payments
- School staff / authorised administrators — as required for day-to-day school operations
- Legal authorities — if required by applicable law
We do not sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
6. Payments
Online fee payments in the App are processed by Razorpay. Payment card, UPI, or net-banking details are handled by Razorpay on their secure pages. We store payment confirmation records (such as order ID, payment ID, amount, and status) against the student fee account.
7. Push notifications
If you allow notifications on your device, we store an FCM token linked to your user account so the school can send notices and alerts. You can turn off notifications in your device settings at any time. Logging out removes the token from our records where possible.
8. Children’s information (students)
Noble School is an educational institution. We process personal data of students, including children under 13, as part of school administration, typically through parents/guardians and school staff.
- Student accounts and records are controlled by the school
- Parents/guardians should contact the school for questions about a child’s data
- We do not knowingly use children’s data for advertising
9. Account access and deletion
App login accounts for parents, students, and staff are created and managed by Noble School.
- To correct information, request a copy of your data, or close App access, contact the school administration using the details below
- The school may disable or delete login access from the admin panel
- Certain academic or fee records may be retained as required by school policy and applicable law even after App access is removed
10. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including HTTPS/TLS for data in transit and secure storage of App login tokens on the device. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
11. Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide school services and meet legal or administrative requirements. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it where practicable.
12. Cookies (website)
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for basic functionality (for example session login for administrators). You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect site features.
13. Third-party links
Our website or App may link to external sites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party sites.
